We are following a roadmap: all the below is based on estimation, but can be amended at any time!

Q4 2021:

Project start. 2021 was the year of game foundations & initial developments. CryptoChampion Studio was created in November 2021. Before the end of the year, we designed the initial prototypes, wrote the concepts and ideas, made the first development lines, created our first socials account, set up our cloud, and made our first in-game settings.

Q1-Q2 2022:

2022 started with new hirings: a full stack developer, a few Game developers, a Game designer, and a Multitask developer. We began the game development (Made by CryptoChampion developers), Created our first UIs (Made by Royal Studio designers & CryptoChampion developers), integrated our first songs (Made by independent artists), and created our Website, with the help of Royal Studio Designers.

We bought different licenses and created our first NFT design (Made by a CryptoChampion game designer). We integrated into our game C# & Python application and made a first test with developers. In the meantime, we hired designers to make the first artworks, and focused on web admin features, making the website responsive.

Q3-Q4 2022:

From the summer of 2022, our dedicated team has worked extensively on the image. We KYCed our executive team with Solidproof and AssureDefi. We created most of our social media content, wrote our smart contracts, and conducted Rapsen/BSC network tests. We finally decided to keep the whole game on ETH to simplify the bridge issues. At that time, we began to write the roadmap and made some website amendments. Our independent artists helped us to make a wonderful video trailer of the game and extra marketing content.

On the other hand, we also worked a lot on the game features. We made the league's first drafts, integrated the WEB3 in the game, integrated the NFTs in the game, developed the shop and readjusted the game economy, the minting page, and worked on the chests, the pets, the spells, the weapons, etc. We also fixed a lot of bugs to make the game stable. We opened the first alpha test to private testers.

Q1 2023:

2023 was the year of game development. In the first quarter, we tested and integrated in-game the spells, the pets, and all their mechanisms. We wrote again the game probabilities for the fights. We integrated a trophies feature. We wrote a model to create a burn mechanism and tested our token again.

We worked on new game features, such as user pages, the talent spin, the friend's page, the chest prizes, the chest drop/openings animations, and a lot of VFX. We also reworked again the game economy. We began to develop our IOS and Android apps.

In addition, we redeveloped our database and corrected a lot of bugs related to NFTs. The website has also been improved.

Q2 2022 - Q4 2023:

Between Q2 and Q4 2023, we continued our development even while the crypto market was going bearish. We made a lot of game amelioration, reworked our database completely (believe us, it was a nightmare), and reworked the user page. We integrated the Forgery feature, the Shelter feature, and reworked (again) the economy.

To avoid any issue on the launch (like a hack or anything), we decided to create a huge administrator panel to decentralize the tokens from the game, avoiding an auto-withdrawal. We fixed some bugs and integrated a global chat. We improved with the NFT, so the equipment stays linked to them in the database. We created a system to better control the game features and economy, such as the burning mechanism. We also integrated new songs.

We made our web and mobile apps on IOS & Android, tested by our partners. Waiting for market conditions to improve before launching.

Q1-Q2 2024

2024 started very well with the market recovery and the BTC ETF being approved. We decided that it would be a great time to finally launch Crypto Champion. We continued the development, but we mostly focused on our launch.

We integrated the Pig Tutorial In-game, made the NFT transferable account to account, linked our NFTs on IOS (!!), developed a new chat feature, and mostly solved bugs again, such as token depositing or energy issues. We listed our first edition NFT on OpenSea and ran some tests with it. Gems and mushrooms are now available in-game with the play-to-earn feature.

Our web and Mobile: IOS & Android applications have been released to the public for alpha-test ( Apple Store / Google Play Store, Web page).

We did launch a beta-test token ($CCG) integrated in-game, and had approximately 17000. beta-testers playing the game.

We did a few updates to the game, making it fully IOS and Android compliant.

About the game development, we improved our shelter and our forgery and corrected some features related to them. We reworked chest rewards. Alpha testers tested the game and gave some data on the next amelioration/bugs to correct, to globally ameliorate the game. We hired a few people, advisors, partners, and a community manager, to organize our social media. To help us with our launches, we deployed team funds in marketing, and team funds again in our liquidity pool. Some funds collected from the transaction of the token have been reinjected into development and marketing.

Q3-Q4 2024:

The end of the year 2024 was mostly a development period. We spent a lot of time hiring new partners and new developers to help us achieve our goals.

We focused on the game development and corrected a shitload of bugs post-beta-test. Thanks to the community, we managed to find hundreds of necessary corrections, and the game became more and more stable every day. We corrected 99% of the bugs reported.

We developed in parallel a few new features:

Friend's feature: You can now add a friend, see requests, accept or refuse them, or even fight against your friends.

Wallet feature: You can now decide whether your wallet address is public or private on your profile.

Profile page: You can now choose an avatar from your NFTs, a flag, and a description, and admire your stats.

Level-up: We modified the level-up UI to make it clearer.

Game economy: We reworked the economy.

Mail feature: You can now receive requests from members to join your club or receive mail from administrators.

We integrated a game history page and modified different UI, such as the knockout phase, group phase, and tournament phase.

Club: The club was the biggest part of the development. We spent most of our time developing the back end of it, the 10vs10 fights, the UI, the tournaments, the settings and the testing, donations, the club's treasury, etc. You can now create or join a club with your friends, and fight together!

Admin panel: The admin panel has been reworked for security reasons, making it more manageable. We can now moderate the chats. We can also moderate the chat and observe/modify the economy settings. We also created analysis tools to have a better view of the stats for IOS/Android and Browser games.

Shelter and forgery: The pages have been improved.

Quests: Quests have been reworked, with the integration of X and Telegram features into the game. Some quests have been readapted.

NFTs: We spent a lot of time reworking the NFT fights before the release to avoid having too many bugs on launch. The testing phase was huge, though limited to team members.

Data usage: We reduced the data usage of the game.

Animations: We created new animations for the gems and mushrooms rewards.

Tutorial: We expanded the tutorial to more pages. We rewrote the tutorial system to improve scalability.

Referral program: We created a referral program, so the players can invite their friends and be rewarded.

API: We integrated a few APIs into our game, provided by social media websites and other platforms like Discord and Telegram.

IronSource: We upgraded Unity Ads to IronSource as requested by Google.

Q1 - Q3 2025

2025 isbe the best moment for us to launch the official stable game, post-beta test. We do focus on different things:

  • Expanding the team and hiring new developers;

  • Continue the development of the features as per the roadmap;

  • Launch of the official $GEM token in Q3, with improved scalability, and new features such as staking;

  • Focus on marketing and making noise about the game.

We plan to launch the big new update of the game, containing all the development made in Q3-Q4 2024. This update is major and will bring a new way to play CryptoChampion and improve the community features.

We also decided to launch our new token with improved tokenomics. This token will be linked in-game.

An airdrop will be deployed to all our beta-testers, ensuring that they are rewarded, but also ensuring that the new joiners aren't dumped by them to keep the stability of the token.

This year, we will also focus on the marketing of the game. We want all the crypto sphere to hear about CryptoChampion. To do so, we will hire a community manager and some community members to spread the word about us. We will also partner with a few KOLs and projects to help us achieve our goals.

We are developing a staking platform, so the user could stake, without limits, their tokens to increase the token liquidity and reward the players more.

We will finally release our NFTs to improve the game experience. The NFTs will be mintable in-game or on our website, and tradable on OpenSea.

We expect the token $GEM to be live on August 22 - 3 PM UTC The NFTs will be released to the public in the meantime;

Game development to come:

  • The staking feature, on web browsers and apps;

  • The league feature, the league page, and the league chests;

  • The community events in-game reward our community with airdrops/contests;

  • A new shop, integrating game passes and paid services for apps;

  • A club chat, to discuss with your community;

  • A club treasury + donation integration;

At the end of 2025, we expect to reach the following stages:

  • A first physical community event;

  • The first E-sport tournament, with the creation of official teams;

  • A lot of amelioration of the game, and new features as per the community feedback;

  • Ability to transform your weapons in NFTs;

  • Ability to transform your pets in NFTs;

  • Integration of the injury feature.

The roadmap has been written based on estimations. Of course, it will be completed over time, depending on our community feedback. Any ideas are welcome! We want to make a big show: putting CCG on every screen, creating big tournaments, and being the top downloaded game in stores!
